doer.com is the domain of our design, hosting and publishing enterprises. It's also the web-address of some very special services offered by professionals we admire.
We have two business enterprises operating within our doer.com domain.
The first of these is The Pemaquid Press, the specialty publishing affiliate of doer.com. It emphasizes poetry, essays and short stories. Presently we run it from our home in Rochester, but the contact and production facilities are situated in the Damariscotta region of mid-coastal Maine. From its inception we've positioned The Pemaquid Press for distribution through electronic and conventional media, so soon you can expect to see catalogs of works for your computer screen and your bookshelf.
Our second enterprise, The Studio at doer.com, is a design and publishing service for on-line media. We offer a useful range of capabilities from composing text to hosting your site within our "doer.com" domain. Among the factors that distinguish us is that we believe the client is more important than the designer, so we listen. We also have the best privacy policy anywhere. We've also pulled together some biographical data about us and some links to other sites we enjoy.
Our monument to the Scorpio -- a remarkable motorcar built by Ford in Germany and briefly imported to the US in the late 1980's under the "Merkur" name -- is averaging 2,000 visitors per month. It outlines the car's history, and it offers tips on maintenance and troubleshooting. Sadly, we recently decommisioned our own Scorpio and surrendered its cherished MIKYMOUS plates. | Recently we have seen indications that someone is sending unsolicited commercial email (so-called "spam") that has been crafted to look as if it originated here at doer.com.
If you receive "spam" falsely attributed to a doer.com address, please forward it to "abuse@doer.com". We'll accumulate the information and submit it to the New York State Attorney General's office for investigation and possible legal action. Thank you for your help and understanding. Together we can unmask the cheaters. |
